Summer Dance Sampler

Welcome to The Maryland Academy of Dance Summer Dance Sampler! 

This 6 week session is the perfect way to introduce your child to formal dance classes. You can reserve your space in any of the classes for $25. The balance will be due July 1 & August 1, 2022.  

Let's talk about what is classes are available for each age group: 

Ages 2 - Creative Movement ($168) | 2 payments of $84

This introduction to dance allows the young dancer to learn through structured

games and imagery. Ballet is the foundation of the class but they will learn social

skills, cognitive skills, balance and locomotive skills.

Mon | 5:30 – 6:00pm

Ages 3 - Ballet Basics & Hip-Hop ($204) | 2 payments of $102

This class is an introduction to ballet that allows the young dancer to learn the

fundamentals of ballet through structured games and imagery. Ballet is the

foundation of the class but they will learn social skills, etiquette, cognitive skills,

balance and locomotive skills

Mon | 6:15 – 7:00pm Wed | 5:30 – 6:15pm

Ages 4-5 - Intro to Dance ($225) | 2 payments of $112.50

This is a combo class that gives the dancer an intro to ballet, acro and hip-hop.

Dancers will explore all three styles over the 10-week session. They will learn the

fundamentals of all three styles of dance.

Mon | 5:30 – 6:20pm Mon | 6:30 – 7:20pm Tues | 5:30 – 6:20pm

Ages 6-8, 9-11, 12-18 - Intro to Dance ($225) | 2 payments of $112.50

(Seperate classes for each age group): 

Dancers will take 5 styles of dance over 10 weeks. This class will introduce the

dancer to Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics & Hip-Hop! 

Ages 6-8

Wed | 5:30 - 6:20pm

Thur | 6:30 - 7:30pm

Ages 9-11 

Wed | 6:30 - 7:20pm

Ages 12+

Wed | 6:30 - 7:20pm
