About the Event
We have partnered with Dance STEP International to level up our training program. This 6-level course will become the blueprint for training leaders within our school! The Student-Teacher Education Program (STEP) at The Maryland Academy of Dance is to Nurture a student's desire to teach & lead. We will help students identify the different aspects of being a Dance Educator. The Maryland Academy of Dance STEP Program is for students interested in teaching, assisting, and being an excellent role model for young children. We begin this journey around 11 - 18 years old. They commit to help for the entire dance school year, from September 2024 - 2025 to the Summer of 2025. A STEP STUDENT is required to assist a class on stage during a performance, especially with the very young in age classes.
